This winter has been such a sweet season full of joy, community, and personal growth. A lot of new and exciting things have happened and are coming.

"ZETTA!!" I heard as I got out of the car. We had just pulled up to the little town of Mucel where we would be serving with the local church for the next week. I looked over and saw a group of kids running up to me with big smiles on their faces. After not having been there for two years, I was so overjoyed that the kids remembered me. I started off the new year in this little town in the Yucatan peninsula of Mexico with my mom and siblings and a group of people from my home church in Minnesota.

We spent a week there doing kid's ministries, women's ministries, and construction. It was such a blessing to be able to go back after two years and see old friends, make new ones, and serve alongside such a beautiful Christ-centered community. Words can't even begin to express the overwhelming sense of joy and how blessed I felt.

After that amazing week, having to come back home to Spain was so hard. I felt lost, frustrated, and alone. I felt I had no one to relate to in these experiences. I was longing for that sense of community and fellowship. I loved the ministries and the things we were doing in Mexico, and I struggled in the transition back because we had nothing going on at our base at the time. However, God was working on my heart in that time and was affirming me in my identity, and my calling. He has me here in Spain on His time, for His purpose. He has especially been highlighting that to me as we've started up another discipleship training school (DTS) and as I have been given new leadership roles and responsibilities.

Beginning of February we started the DTS for the year with nine students from around the world. We are currently on week five and it has been so cool to see how open all the students are and how much they desire to learn and grow in their identity and faith in God. They are an amazing group of people and I am so excited to see how God works in them through this school!

Prayer Requests

  • Pray for the students as they continue learning and growing! That their hearts would be open to all that God has for them.

  • Prayers for our next Youth Encounter happening on March 14. That the youth that come would encounter God and desire to know Him more.

  • Prayers for financial provision. As the DTS continues, we will be traveling to England, Albania, and Turkey. I am looking to raise $1,700 to cover the cost of flights, food, housing, and ministries. If you feel led to give, here is a link to my donation page!

Thank you all for your continued love and support!

Blessings,

Zetta
